After leading Tallis City into economic prosperity with her invention of human-like artificially intelligent androids, CEO Hatena Mouru is attacked by her own prototype, which vanishes. Detective Atwood and her partner Chase - also an android - investigate and unknowingly step into a web of conspiracies that involves corruption at all levels of power.
